This is the exact realized profit and loss booked by the 25 Hyperliquid perpetual-futures whales WhaleRoom tracks — the wallets on our leaderboard. We read every closing fill straight from the Hyperliquid API and sum its realized PnL. It is the real closed ledger, not an on-chain estimate.
It is a sample, not the whole market. The cohort is the top wallets we currently track, so it leans toward large, active traders and shifts as the leaderboard changes. A single hyperactive wallet can dominate a day. Spot trades are excluded — perpetuals only.
Numbers accumulate from the day we began recording, so the 30- and 90-day windows fill in over time. Read it as a pulse of whether the tracked whales are taking money off the table or bleeding — context, not advice.

What does SOL whale realized PnL mean?
It is the profit or loss the tracked whales locked in by closing SOL perpetual positions on Hyperliquid, summed across the 25 wallets we follow. Open (unrealized) PnL is not counted here.

Does a big realized loss mean the whales are wrong?
Not necessarily. Realized PnL is money taken off the table: heavy profit-taking can mark local tops and heavy losses can mark capitulation. Treat it as context, not a signal to trade.
